If and when you access our website, information of a general nature is collected automatically. This information (server logfiles) includes, for example, the type of browser, the operating system used, the domain name of your internet service provider and the like. This is, without exception, information which cannot be traced back to you as an individual. Such information is technically indispensable for us to supply correctly the website contents which you request, and it is generated necessarily through use of the internet. We subject anonymous information of this kind to statistical analysis in order to optimise both our internet presence and the technology underlying it.

2. Requesting information materials, contact forms, billing forms
When you request information materials or bills, certain personal data are collected, such as name, address, contact and communication data, for example telephone number and email address. We use these data placed at our disposal in order to send you the information requested. You can of course also obtain information from us at any time on the personal data we have stored about you. We will also be pleased to correct or delete the data at your request, except where statutory data retention obligations require otherwise. If you wish to contact us in this connection, please use the contact data supplied at the end of this data protection statement.

3. Newsletter
If you register for delivery of our newsletter, the data you provide will be used exclusively for this purpose. Newsletter subscribers can also be informed by email about circumstances relevant to the service or the registration (for example, changes to the newsletter offer or technical matters).

For an effective registration we need a valid email address. In order to check on whether a registration has in fact been carried out by the owner of an email address, we make use of the "double opt-in" procedure. For this purpose we draw up a record of the order of the newsletter, the dispatch of a confirmation email and the receipt of the reply requested therein. Further data are not collected. The data are used exclusively for the dispatch of the newsletter and are not passed on to third parties.

You can at any time revoke your consent to the storage of your personal data and their use for the dispatch of the newsletter. Every newsletter contains a link for that purpose. In addition, you can at any time deregister direct on this website or submit your request to that effect by using the contact data given at the end of this statement.

4. Contact form
If you make contact with us by email or by using the contact form, your name and your email address and the other information given by you will be stored for the purpose of processing your enquiry and for possible follow-up queries.

5. Use of Google Analytics
We use the website analysis tool “Google Analytics” on our site (Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountainview, California 94043, USA, EU branch: Google Dublin, Google Ireland Ltd., Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland).

When you visit our website, this tool installs a cookie on your computer which analyses your use of our website. The collected data is transmitted to the USA where it is stored. If this involves personal data, Google’s certification in accordance with the Privacy Shield agreement (https://www.privacyshield.gov/EU-US-Framework) guarantees that European data protection law will be adhered.

We use Google Analytics IP anonymisation to protect your personal data. This shortens IP addresses before the data is transmitted to the USA and can therefore not be associated with any individual person. Only in exceptional cases, is the full IP address transmitted to a Google server in the USA where it is shortened.

The collected data is then used to evaluate the website use of individual users and provide the associated reports. The legal basis of the data processing is Article 6 Para. 1 lit. f EU-GDPR.

Your IP address which is transmitted by your browser within the framework of Google Analytics is not associated with other data at Google. Google Analytics is used for the analysis, optimisation and improvement of our website. The collected data is stored for a period of 14 months after which it is automatically deleted.
